Referrals

Stepped Care Counselling accepts GP (with mental health care plan) and private self-referrals, as well as from third party funding as listed below.

- Victims of Crime (NSW)
- QPS SelfRefer
- WorkCover
- Employee assistance programs (EAP - Telus Health)
- Bupa Open Arms Veterans support.

Rates from 1 July, 2026 with a GP Mental Health Care Plan are $170 per 50-minute session less the Medicare rebate of $89.50. Total out of pocket is $80.50. Couples Counselling - $170 per 50-minute session. Please note there is no Medicare rebate available for couples counselling.
